MEW was born by the unexpected collabo. ration of Mora Wang Papier, design director of Australian carpet brand TRE (The Rug Est) and Qian Jing, graphic designer in Shanghai. MEW’s original intention was to create a new, playful and surprising design that would  preserve and extend the handmade rugs and be accepted and loved by a new generation of carpet consumers. MEW offer different design to architects and interior designers as well as custom designs for different commercial  public spaces and private houses.
